The Partnership

Building your child's future together.

You are raising a bright, hardworking teenager. Our goal is to help them reach their full potential. We provide more than just financial help. We provide the guidance, exposure, and structure they need to succeed in school and in life. But we cannot do this alone. We rely on a strong, honest partnership with parents and guardians to help our students thrive.

Two Paths

Opening doors for your child.

The Pathways Series (for many students). We run a live online speaker series that connects business leaders and professionals directly with students. These sessions are designed specifically for students from under-resourced communities. They help your child see what career paths exist in the real world, how to get there, and what to study. If your child's school is a partner, they can join these sessions to explore their future.

The Core Scholarship (by invitation only). A small group of students is invited to join our core scholar team. These students get deep, hands-on support for three years to help them get into top universities and build real-world skills.

Real Responsibility

Student-led, adult-guided.

One thing makes the Mighty Minds Movement very different: our daily work is actually run by our core scholars. By taking on real responsibility, your child learns the most important practical skills early. However, they are never left on their own. We have a clear, safe structure with strict adult oversight.

01

Workstream Operators

When your child joins, they start here. They learn how to do specific tasks while being closely guided.

02

Workstream Leads

Older, more experienced scholars step up to lead the tasks and teach the younger students.

03

Workstream Mentors

Top adult professionals oversee every team. They check the work, give advice, and ensure everything is done to a high standard.

04

Our Partnership With You

We keep an open line of communication with you at home to ensure your child balances their responsibilities without letting schoolwork slip.

The Next Level

Preparing them for the real world.

For the students invited to our core scholarship, we focus on much more than just paying for school. We provide a structured journey to ensure they know how to succeed in the professional world.

Career Exposure

We help them figure out what careers they want, setting up job-shadowing experiences at leading companies so they can see what real workplaces look like.

Academic Guidance

Our scholars run weekly study sessions together, helping each other get the marks they are capable of and prepare for top universities.

A Strong Community

Your child will work with other driven students and learn from older mentors who care about their future.

Financial Backing

We cover the school fees, transport, and technology they need, so money does not stand in the way of their education.

Real Voices

What other parents say.

Wagieda Brink

The scholarship has given our family great financial relief. It gave our child opportunities we never thought possible. Gadija has grown tremendously under the guidance of the mentors within the Mighty Minds Movement, and for that we are truly grateful.

This scholarship has been of great help to us. Seeing Bohlale being exposed to things and places we couldn't have necessarily provided is indeed a great blessing.

The Expectation

Working as a team at home.

The Mighty Minds Movement asks a lot of our scholars. To succeed, they need your help at home.

Time and Space to Study

They need time at home to focus on schoolwork and weekly goals. We ask that you protect their study time and avoid outside jobs if possible.

Talk to Us

If something at home might affect their schoolwork or well-being, please tell us. We are a team, and we can only support them if we know what is going on.

Let Them Grow

We treat our scholars as young adults. They must learn to manage their own time and fix their own mistakes. Encourage them, but let them do the hard work themselves.

Care for Equipment

Any laptops or tools we provide must remain for your child's exclusive academic use.

The Onboarding

The family meeting.

Because this is a big commitment, we never finalise a core scholarship without meeting the parents or guardians first. If your child is chosen, we will sit down with you, answer your questions, explain our rules, and make sure we are all ready to work together.
