The Opportunity

Step into something bigger.

For academically strong, values-driven students ready for real responsibility.

The Invitation

You already have the drive. Now you need the exposure. The Mighty Minds Movement is built for ambitious students, by ambitious students. We help you expand your horizons, figure out your future, and push your limits. We connect exceptional talent with real-world career insights, global networks, and the standards required to succeed.

There are two ways to engage. You can access our global speaker network through the Pathways Series at your school, or you may be invited to join our core scholar team and help run the Mighty Minds Movement itself.

Broadening the Horizon

The Pathways Series.

You do not need to be a core scholar to benefit from our network. Through the Pathways Series, we bring live online, unfiltered conversations with global CEOs, founders, doctors, lawyers, and scientists directly to students from under-resourced communities. These sessions show you which careers exist in the modern economy, how to get there, and why you belong in those rooms.

How to join. The Pathways Series is available to students whose schools have partnered with the Mighty Minds Movement. Ask your Life Orientation teacher if your school is a partner. If it is, ask how to sign up for the next session. If it is not, you can download the information pack at the bottom of this page and share it with them.

The Vanguard

Building the Mighty Minds Movement.

The core Mighty Minds Movement Scholarship is a demanding three-year academic and leadership pipeline. You cannot apply for it directly. You must be invited.

If selected, you step into a community of ambitious peers who push you to excel, support you when it gets tough, and celebrate your wins. You receive far more than financial support for school fees and transport. You actively help build the Mighty Minds Movement.

You do not just shadow adults; you carry real weight. Our scholars manage operational workstreams. You might lead public relations, handle accounting, or organise the Pathways Series itself. You will also participate in weekly goal-setting, Monday study sessions, and job-shadowing experiences at leading companies.

The Community

Step into your team.

You embark on this journey with other ambitious students who get you. People who care about their marks, take their work seriously, and know how to laugh. Students who have each other's backs and enjoy their time together. Over time, the Movement becomes a group of people you trust, learn from, and grow with.

Beyond the Work

Adventures you won't forget.

You hike Table Mountain together. You walk through Robben Island and the Norval Foundation. You watch whales together in Hermanus. These are the experiences that turn a cohort into friends for life.

The Invitation

How we find you.

Excellence cannot be mass-produced. We do not accept open applications. Our intake is strictly by invitation only, so that we can invest serious time, exposure, and resources into every scholar we bring on board.

1

The Nomination

We identify candidates through direct referrals.

2

The Scholar-Led Interview

Shortlisted nominees are interviewed by a panel of current scholars who assess values alignment and growth mindset. Future leaders evaluate future leaders.

3

Board Member Conversation

A short discussion with a Board Member ensures alignment of expectations and culture.

4

Family Conversation

We meet with your parents or guardians. Family support is an essential requirement for success.
