The Evidence

We do not just make promises. We build proof.

The Mighty Minds Movement is built on accountability and execution. Here is the evidence of what happens when exceptional talent from under-resourced communities is met with structure, elite exposure, and real operational responsibility.

What Our Partners Say

What excellence looks like to our partners.

It is a privilege to host Mighty Minds Movement scholars at Webber Wentzel. Not only do they bring discipline, curiosity and critical thinking while learning from our practitioners, we benefit from engaging with the changemakers who will build South Africa's tomorrow.

The future is shaped by bright young minds who choose courage over circumstance and curiosity over the familiar. At Yoco, we are proud to support the Mighty Minds Movement in helping talented students turn their potential into real opportunities.

Katlego MaphaiCo-Founder, Yoco

The Mighty Minds Movement offers the gift of perspective: highly talented young minds interacting with leading South African and international companies to unlock incredible potential. All while building tenacity, work ethic and a desire to pay it forward to the next cohort.

Exposure creates possibility. When young minds see themselves in spaces of medicine, we expand the future of healthcare in South Africa. By connecting young talent with leaders across fields like healthcare, technology and law, the Mighty Minds Movement turns academic potential into real-world possibility.

Potential Realised

Two trajectories. One standard.

Azola Ndongeni
Azola · Law & Justice

Azola.

From a one-bedroom home in Khayelitsha to one of South Africa's top law firms. After targeted mentorship helped her restructure her CV to properly reflect her talent, Azola secured internship offers from Freshfields, Linklaters, and Hengeler Müller. She chose a six-week deep dive into European arbitration at Hengeler Müller in Frankfurt.

Today, she is an Attorney in the Dispute Resolution department at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr. As a LexisNexis Rule of Law Fellow, she presented an AI-driven justice accessibility project to Chief Justice Zondo and President Ramaphosa. She serves on our Advisory Board, constantly mentoring the next generation.

Gadija Brink
Gadija · Digital Infrastructure & Engineering

Gadija.

Gadija's trajectory is the ultimate proof of our scholar-led model. As our first scholarship recipient, she helped co-found the Mighty Minds Movement through her ideas and intelligent inputs. During her time as a scholar, she first led IT and the website, then stepped up into scholar leadership and OKR management, helping build internal structures that still underpin our systems today. Through job-shadowing experiences at Mediclinic, Webber Wentzel, and Yoco, she refined her career path.

Today, she works for Seven Senders, a leading logistic tech scale-up in Berlin, and is preparing for University. She continues to give back and ensures our leadership remains grounded in the community viewpoint by serving on the Board of Directors for our South African NPC.
